Carol Todaro All Along
April 7 - May 5, 2019
Exhibition Statement:
“All along”—at the same time, from the beginning—is also a term for sewing a book.
This exhibition of sculpture and book objects considers the elegance of book forms,
the contemplative nature of book binding, and layered imagery as a metaphor for
the mentors and experiences that are present in our lives, all along.
Todaro invited the viewers to sit down and sew a simple book in the participatory
piece, “Pamphleteer.”
